This free experience aims to educate the community about the home buying process

Charlotte, N.C.– March 16, 2018– Purchasing a home for the first time can be an intimidating process for the prospective homeowner. A house is likely one of the most significant investments a person will make in their lifetime so understanding what to expect, what to look for and what to avoid is important. The Living with Pride Home Buying Seminar, hosted by Pride Magazine, Bank of America, and Community Link, will take place Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University at the Dorothy Cowser Yancy Technology Center – 100 Beatties Ford Road, 28216.  Breakfast will be provided. “Home ownership can be the key to building wealth in our communities,” said Dee Dixon, Publisher of Pride Magazine.  “Our goal is to educate potential home buyers, connect them with lending specialists and provide them with the appropriate tools and resources to make informed decisions.”
