Pamper Yourself: Tips for Glowing Skin

Did you know our bodies shed skin everyday? How beautiful and amazing is that! But like everything else our body needs a little help. Pampering your skin weekly will help bring it to life.

Here are a few home remedies that I love because you see results quickly. And I am all about results because who doesn’t want beautiful skin for the summer? Here are a few tips to create a spa at home.

Create a spa in your bathroom by setting the mood with your favorite candles. I love candles with fresh scents such as: Aveda, Jo Marlone, Nest, and Voluspa. Once you have created your place of peace then you can start massaging your body with a scrub.

Let’s start with 1 cup of sea salt you can purchase from any store.

Add ½ cup of honey to help with irritation and to keep the skin smooth.

Add  1 tablespoon of Vitamin E liquid to the mixture. Vitamin E is the best oil treatment for your skin.

Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice for essence but keep in mind it also helps with discoloration.

Place all ingredients in a glass bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.

Then get in a warm shower and rub scrub mixture into your skin with care. Rinse scrub off skin and pat dry. Apply your favorite body cream. You can reuse the body scrub one time.

Embrace yourself and love who you are from the inside and out. Your body is your temple so be sure to worship it.
