Charlotte’s own A Sign of the Times Band invites you out to the Little Rock Cultural Center this evening for the beginning of a series of special performances entitled, “2017 Diggin’ History Through Music & Dance.” This magnificent multi-rhythm composition of musicians explores the contributions and struggles of Africans and African Americans, as presented through spoken word, music and dance. Listen, all my entrepreneurial friends. Do you need a boost? Some motivation, perhaps? This evening, join the League of Intelligence continue their “Regaining Our Power: An African History Course.” This multi-week course is geared to help educate Black people about our powerful past which provides: knowledge of self, African cultural development and reconnection, economic wisdom, strategy and tactics for liberation, self-sufficiency in today’s climate, regaining power to self-determine, restoring our confidence and ambition and much more!
