A new year means new beginnings and Healthy Home Market is on the same movement. HHM is known to be a unique health food store servicing Charlotte, Matthews, Davidson and soon the Lenoir area. Yes, as some of you may have heard, HHM is expanding in 2017 providing healthy options to new areas. Our mission is to offer healthy products, provide a welcoming environment and strive to grow the community. Being a local market, HHM sells some local products from the Carolinas dating back to 1979 as Home Economist, then transforming into Healthy Home Market. Now HHM will add a new concept, with Farm to Family Foods by Healthy Home Market.
Those who are looking for organic, non GMO, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and any other health needs, can find them at their local HHM. Shopping in bulk is also an option. Along with grinding your own peanut butter and stocking up on local honey.
In 2017, here are some key areas to look for when you shop at Healthy Home Market. You will notice that the HHM deli is stocked with fresh natural meats and grab and go sandwich wraps. At the Plaza Midwood and Davidson locations there is a Hot Bar that is open 11am-2pm for a tasty lunch. If you are looking for a lighter lunch then stop by the juice bar for a green juice or smoothie. There are so many options that you can choose from.
Another key part of HHM is the vitamin department. It is large, but do not feel overwhelmed because HHM has educated staff to help and inform you on the products in the department. From daily supplements to health and beauty products.
Lastly, you have to step into the beer and wine cave where there are many options including dark and light IPA’s. Most IPA’s are local, but there are some commercial brands as well. The same goes for the wine. So when you find a good wine, be sure to check out the cheese spreads to pair your wine with.
