Invest Fest 2024 was an inspiring and monumental event that filled me with an overwhelming sense of pride. Witnessing over 10,000 African American entrepreneurs come together in one space, united in spirit and purpose, was nothing short of extraordinary. Each individual had a singular focus: building wealth for themselves and, more importantly, creating generational wealth for future generations.
The energy, determination, and collective drive for success at Invest Fest are unmatched. For anyone aspiring to be a successful entrepreneur, attending this event is an absolute must. It is Black America’s premier event for networking, learning, and engaging with like-minded individuals. The inspiration and motivation that permeates the air are undeniable, fueling ambition and fostering connections that can change lives.
Though I haven’t fully investigated all the events of its kind worldwide, I’m confident in saying that Invest Fest stands head and shoulders above the rest—it’s the best of its kind in the world!

Below is starvingarts.org‘s INVEST FEST 2024 Recap #2 Video:
It’s no surprise that Invest Fest ’24 had its fourth successful year with an impressive turnout of over 20,000+ attendees. Recently, Invest Fest ’24 was held in Atlanta, Ga at the Georgia World Congress Center. The community showed up and out, as did popular speakers, artists, entrepreneurs, and entertainers. A mindset and belief that success starts with showing up for yourself and showing up in spaces was more than sensed.
Created by Earn Your Leisure in 2021, Invest Fest is more than “money talk.” It’s a passionate mix of black culture, entertainment, education and empowerment. It is an event like no other in storytelling and talks of practical tips and strategies from beginners to experts. The collective themes of knowledge and execution were heard, seen, and shared. Starting with a pristine lineup that consisted of Blacc Sam, Monica, Lauren London, Steve Harvey, Shannon Sharpe, Van Jones, Stephen A. Smith, Don Peebles, Dee 1, Queen Afua, Wyclef Jean, Nehemiah Davis, Terrence J, Tyrese, and the headliner, Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, and of course, Earn Your Leisure’s Troy Millings, Rashad Bilal, Ian Dunlap, and many more. The vendor marketplace also featured over 200 vendors and over a dozen of Atlanta’s best food trucks lined up outside offering a variety of dishes. Invest Fest ’24 was indeed an event like no other.
Panels and conversations such as health and wellness were discussed with Lauren London and Queen Afua, reminding you of the importance of stillness and recognizing every dollar may not be for you. The Nipsey Hussle pitch competition, created by Earn Your Leisure, and in collaboration with Microsoft and The Marathon, was a major experience allowing black entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses for a chance to win $100k. This competition honors Nipsey Hussle and upholds his legacy. One of the competitors, Mr. Officials “Put It On Wax”, an educator and wax connoisseur, presented the first and only Nipsey Hussle wax figure in honor of the late legend. A heartfelt moment of respect and inspiration earned a standing ovation from the stage to the audience, and the word, “Accurate” about the wax figure from Blacc Sam, Nipsey’s brother. And congratulations to Divine Luminance Juices, juices that improve and revitalize health, who won the pitch competition.
Microsoft also discussed the importance of learning AI, and artificial intelligence, and how it can be used personally and professionally. A challenge, the Invest Fest AI skills challenge, was mentioned in which attendees were encouraged to log on to ak. ms/investai to learn A.I., in under 2 hours, at an individual approach.
Later, Curtis, 50 Cent, Jackson joined Earn Your Leisure, Troy, and Rashad, on stage to unpack success, then and now, sustaining success and knowing what it means to keep trying.
Overall, Invest Fest will continue boosting black financial literacy and motivation to invest in yourself and your community. Like all in attendance, Pride looks forward to Invest Fest ’25 and the various happenings with EYL.
