Yesterday, March 30 2022, Serita Jakes, founder of the Serita Jakes Home and executive director of women’s and children’s affairs at The Potter’s House of Dallas, visited The Harvest Center in Charlotte, NC. (Pride Magazine was there!). Jakes will meet and greet more than 100 families as she distributes homeless kits as part of Hope INsight Community Impact Day. The kits include toiletries and toys. Serita Jakes and her husband, T.D. Jakes, are in Charlotte to host the International Leadership Summit at the Charlotte Convention Center, March 31 – April 2. The Hope INSight Community Impact Day is a way for the International Leadership Summit to give back to the Charlotte community. Welcome to the Queen City, First Lady Serita Jakes!
