The trees are shedding their leaves and honestly it’s time for me to shed a little mass myself. Let’s follow the lead of Mother Nature and shed all the “extra” that we packed on this summer. I’ve really enjoyed all of the pool parties, bbq’s and backyard get-togethers with tons of friends, family and awesome food. However, its time to shall fall in line with mother nature and shed too. Here is a very simple recipe that is super filling. This healthy salad is a great source of protein and will help you trim that excess weight in no time flat.
Cumber & Tomato Cottage Cheese Salad
Ingredients:
– 1 Cup Cottage Cheese
– 1/2 Cucumber (diced)
– 1/2 tomato (diced)
– Salt
– Pepper
– Cayenne Pepper
Optional
Chia Seed
Directions:
Place the cottage cheese in bowl. Chop up the cucumbers into small cubes, as evenly as possible. Repeat with the tomatoes. Toss all the vegetables in to the bowl. Sprinkle in salt
and both peppers to taste, top with Chia Seed and mix.
Serve fresh and enjoy!
