Happy 2020 Brothers & Sisters! It´s a new year, a new decade and a new time to forward your life! While the social scene may be on the down slope for this weekend, I was able to squeeze out a few gems in the first episode of The Rundown for this year. It´s now 2020 and you´ve partied, you´ve ate too much and probably have had way too much to drink. This evening, get ready to sober up, a little bit and head down to Petra´s for the Hangover Comedy Show! Come get your giggle on with Brian O’Neil, Kevin Delgado, Tara Brown and Wayne Cousins! The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art invites you out to a very special one-night-only concert celebrating all things jazz as they kick off a year of magic with Celebrating 10 Years: A Jazz at the Bechtler Birthday Bash! Nationally-renowned jazz artists Nnenna Freelon, Russell Malone and Nicolas Bearde join the Ziad Jazz Quartet on the stage of the Blumenthal Performing Arts Knight Theater for an unforgettable evening of jazz and celebration to make sure we kick off 2020 on the right note(s)! For today´s session, Beading 101, you will learn how to design and create wearable art with jewelry artist Kim Turner. Gain experience using the tools needed to make your own necklaces, earrings or bracelets. If you have beads or pendants you would like to incorporate into your design, please feel free to bring them.
